Ucha Meirelles is a Brazilian style consultant, based in New York, with nearly 85k followers on Instagram. She’s a VIP ambassador for The Armory Show and Vogue Brasil. “It’s all about colors,” she says. Her palette at the Manhattan Vintage show transports me to that magical story within The Three Caballeros. “Have you been to Baía?” Blue and red and yellow and green, matching nails and lips. Even the iPhone cases fit in to the scheme. Given the opportunity to photograph Ucha again, I’d have her meet me at the Miró exhibit or a paint store, with all the bold colors as exclamation points. And I’d ask if she’d ever been to Baía.
